The location is walkable to Lake Merritt, the 19th St BART station, restaurants, cafés, museums, the farmers market, and a lively beer garden. The facilities are clean and welcoming, and the staff are always smiling and helpful. The lobby restaurant offers great food and drinks and even bakes its own bread. The room had an outdoor patio that was also welcoming. We love staying here.

The bathroom was spacious and we appreciated having a coffee machine in the room, but the terrace room was on the 3rd floor with walls so high that we couldn’t see over, there was only one chair, and the curtains didn’t close all the way.

I liked the stay, but the view from the room was lacking.

The hotel’s location is spot on, right next to the Bart Station for city trips and a direct train to the airport, plus there are great restaurants and coffee shops nearby.
