“Spectacular scenery and total unplug”
The scenery was absolutely stunning – you could hear frogs and little birds all around, and it felt like a total escape from everything else. Nothing else mattered once you were soaking in the view and the sounds.
“Creative host, great views, but rough road”
Meeting the host was a highlight; she’s turned a plot of land into a creative little haven, and the room was huge with a super comfy bed and incredible valley views. She also cooks meals from what she grows herself, which added a nice personal touch. The only hitch was that the road is pretty much a 4×4‑only track, so we needed a driver the host arranged to get there.
“Great vistas, but tricky first navigation”
The location offers fantastic views of Colombia’s wonders, which is a real treat. The downside is that the first time you try to get there, Google Maps can lead you down the wrong road, though it gets easier once you’ve been there.
“Decent enough, but nothing special”
There were a few nice moments, but overall the experience was just okay. It didn’t leave a strong impression either way.

The landscape is beautiful and there are plenty of spots to gather and enjoy nature. However, the road signs are lacking, making the first arrival a bit confusing. Once you find it, the place is worth the effort.
