I was really looking forward to celebrating my anniversary, but unfortunately, things didn't go as planned. We arrived at 6 pm, but no one was there to greet us, and the chalet was in a terrible state. There were dog hairs all over the floor and couch, dirty windows with handprints and smudges, a grimy dishwasher, a broken freezer, and even the toilet hadn't been cleaned.
