The mountain climate was lovely, and the family of Paulo were super welcoming. The fireplace at night was the highlight of the whole stay. Too much vines around the house – could have bugs or snakes – but that didn’t mess with my comfort at all.

Beautiful location, amazing view, the chalet is super charming, cleaning was spotless, the cool weather was just right, and the Samambaia team was incredibly attentive. I’m definitely coming back.

The place is gorgeous – a privileged landscape, gardens that look like they’re straight out of a postcard, and a quiet vibe for anyone wanting to escape city noise. It’s airy, with that typical mountain chill that you can’t beat. The showers were broken, but I ran into the owner on site and he was super attentive, fixing things fast and really understood what we needed.

Loved the chalet – it’s airy, comfy, the interior is well laid out, and the rooms are spacious. What we loved most was the support from S. Paulo – he was so helpful and attentive. I can’t wait to come back soon. Wish they had a thermal mug for coffee, though, because it’s pretty cold in Bananeiras and hot drinks get cold fast.
