The room was comfortable and spacious, everything looked new and well maintained, and there was no noise, but the bike garage was closed; a sauna was advertised on the website and influenced my choice, yet on a Sunday the front desk was shut and I couldn’t book it despite emailing the address, so I missed that service, and getting a bike to the hotel from Donauworth is difficult.

The recently renovated rooms are clean and feel like studio apartments, fully equipped with crockery, pots, utensils, stove, microwave with oven, ceiling and floor fans, and blinds that block light but let in airflow for great sleep; laundry is convenient and cheap because you pay for time, not per cycle, and racks are provided if you skip the dryer, plus there’s plenty of on‑site parking, though the hotel is a bit far from town unless you drive.

The place was well kept and spotless, and the staff were very friendly. The location isn’t ideal for walking into the city centre – it takes about 30 minutes.
