It’s near the lake, a calm spot, and the staff are friendly (though they don’t speak English). There’s a rooftop terrace overlooking the lake. Free coffee or tea is offered. The spot is convenient if you want to visit the archaeological sites of Loyang Ujung Karang or Loyang Mendale, about a 15‑minute walk away, for the 5000‑year‑old Austronesian burials. There’s no breakfast; you’ll have to search for Indonesian stalls that serve only local food. The first restaurant, “Lemong,” is a 10‑minute walk away. Don’t bother visiting Putri Pukes Cave near the lake on a coastal road—it’s a tourist trap with no interest at all!
