The top room was huge and quiet, fully equipped, and had a modern feel. The area is fantastic, just a short walk to the castle, pubs, and restaurants, and there’s pay‑and‑display parking right in front of the building. The toilet works but feels dated and could use a refresh to match the room’s vibe; the carpet/mats in both the room and toilet are plastic—plenty of room for a washable fabric option, especially in the bathroom.

The location was fine, but there was no human interaction, and the codes for entering and exiting the room didn’t work well. The bedroom door didn’t lock and kept banging all night when I moved the bed. The bathroom was tiny, the toilet seat didn’t fit properly, so I either slid around or had the seat rest on my back. I barely slept, and I was relieved to see dawn when I finally packed up and left.
