Urban Pack

The location was fine. I booked a “private” room, but first, one bottom bunk was barricaded with blankets and stuffed with random junk (the staff didn’t warn us, so we initially thought a stranger was living there). Second, there were multiple boxes shoved under the beds, so there was no space to put luggage. The room and bedding had a noticeable smell of stale body odor. Air fresheners were used to mask it, but the underlying smell was still distinctly present. The room is located right next to the balcony, which made the hallway hot, and cigarette smoke sometimes drifted directly into our room.

Nothing good. There were plenty of bed bugs and rats.

The location is good, the staff are nice, and the cleanliness is acceptable. Some facilities need improvement.

The place sits right in the middle of everything, and getting in touch with the staff was a breeze!

“Unpleasant with the message and no aircon in common room”

The rooms were spotless, but I received a note from the owner saying how awful the noise is at night (even though it was 6 pm when I arrived). I was confused to get that message upon entering the room. I know I made some noise, but not at night, and I understand that in a shared room we all need to be mindful. Still, that whole thing left me feeling uneasy.
