Nice spot and decent setup, but the shower never warmed up, Wi‑Fi was spotty, and we never got told breakfast was at a different place. The map on the website was wrong – we had to wander around to find the lodge. Staff were thin on the ground too.

The front desk was nice and the breakfast at the external restaurant was okay. But the room was a nightmare – no proper bathroom, no door, low shower, a cockroach, and a strong sewage smell. For the price on a holiday, it was a disaster.

Breakfast is outsourced, generous, location great, walk to downtown Alto Paraíso. But the place is basic, pool dirty and not heated, shower is awful with cold water leaking, no amenities, and checkout only from 8am – no one to help earlier.
