San Nicolas Hotel & Casino, located in central Ensenada just 1 km from the port, offers an outdoor pool, casino with electronic dice, poker tables and gaming machines, and a poolside restaurant serving Mexican‑American cuisine. Air‑conditioned rooms feature cable TV, private bathrooms, and optional Mexican artwork, with views of the pool, city or sea. Beaches at Acapulco and Playa Hermosa lie within a 10‑minute drive; Ensenada Airport is 10 km away.

The facilities and location are excellent, and everything was perfect.

I didn’t use many of the facilities, but the location is great, there’s plenty of parking, the rooms are comfortable, and all the necessary services and utensils are available. The only downside was a bit of grime in one section of the shower.

The hot tubs were a highlight, but the prices were too high for Mexico, room service was expensive, the bathroom smelled awful, the shower water was salty, and the temperature was inconsistent. I won’t return because it was too costly for so many problems.
