“Die guten Bewertungen auf Booking haben uns sehr getäuscht”

The beds were clean and there were no bedbugs. However, there were at least 30 mosquitoes in the room, and even with the door closed the smell from the canal was strong. I also stepped on a cockroach in the bathroom. Overall the bathroom was disgusting and I didn't feel comfortable. We booked two nights but left after the first check‑out. We tried to explain to the staff, via a translator, why we were leaving early, but they just laughed. We didn't dare eat the breakfast.

Nice place with very kind staff; they sprayed the room for mosquitoes when I arrived because there were many, and it left all of them dead on the bed. It was mostly comfortable and clean, but the bathroom had an old vibe, was less clean, and the sink was small. Still, it was good value and the hosts were very kind, making it a good spot for a short night near the airport. Thank you! The location felt like the side of town with few shops or restaurants, but Grab was easy and it’s close to the airport.

The staff were fantastic and the price was great for a big, clean room and a comfortable bed! Perfect place to stay before or after a flight, and they can arrange transportation too! 🙌

“Calidad precio muy buena”

The room is very spacious, the new bed is comfortable. The bathroom is typical of Indonesia, with the shower and toilet close together. They’re still finishing details on the new upper‑floor rooms (where we stayed) and will probably add more furniture like a mirror and coat rack. Breakfast was also good. The value for money is very good and the staff are very friendly.

“Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis”

The place is fine for the price; rooms are simple and clean, showers lack hot water but the air conditioning is great. The staff are very friendly and the owner organized everything from the scooter to the day trip to Komodo, all shuttles, and even offered a free beach ride at the end. Everything worked 100 %. Thank you for all that. Just don’t expect a 5‑star bathroom for this price.
