Jambiani Backpackers Hostel

Honestly, one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at! The beds were comfy with a curtain, fan and AC. The showers and bathroom were nice. The location is perfect, just a 2‑minute walk from the beach. There’s a pool for when the tide is too low to swim. It sits between Paje and Jambiani (about a 30‑minute walk to each). The staff made my stay incredible – super friendly and helpful. They organize activities, there’s a volleyball net and happy hour. Everything a great hostel should have. Highly recommend!!!

“Très bien”

William and Mohamed are great at leading, organizing activities and bringing guests together. If you find a good group, the place is very nice and we laugh a lot. The cocktails are good and cost between $6–$8. I still advise comparing the prices of the activities the hotel offers, because they do charge a margin on many things. There’s no hot water (the water is very cold when you take a shower at 7 pm). Coffee isn’t included in breakfast (it’s $2). The rooms have no windows, so you have to turn on the light once the door is closed.

Incredible. Everything was comfortable, clean, and the service was great. William is the best. There’s a beautiful pool and a volleyball court as well. Highly recommend.

The place is absolutely amazing—beautiful and perfectly located. The nearby village offers interesting dining options, and the staff are just incredible, especially William, who is calm, intelligent, and helpful. If you’re unsure about staying here, I guarantee you’ll be grateful you didn’t skip this experience.

The staff here are superb, always going above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. They’ve created a sociable atmosphere that kept us extending our stay, and the breakfast is great too 😁 I can’t recommend this place enough! Nothing negative.
