Vert Lodge Chamonix, built in 1851, is a historic hotel located next to Gaillands Lake and Climbing Wall, 15 minutes' walk from Chamonix centre. Refurbished in 2021, it offers guest rooms with USB plugs, TV, and private bathroom, plus shared dorms and capsule beds. The hotel features a bar with pool table, restaurant, garden area with hammock, and on-site lift tickets and equipment rental, with a bus stop and train station nearby.

The reception was friendly.

The location was great with fantastic views of Mont Blanc, but it was very dirty—thick dust everywhere, communal toilet floors sticky to walk on. The photos were obviously AI because the pods didn’t look like this; it’s very deceptive. There is only one shower per dorm that houses 8 people, so getting a shower was tricky and you had to wait even though you were up early to head out.

The ower or manager was always good mood and nice pace to see the good view with beer. Room
