“立地で選ばれるホテル”
The location was convenient. I checked in at night and found only one person at the front desk, which felt far too few; the staff were on the phone when I arrived, gave me no eye contact or greeting, and left me waiting while about four parties stood in line, which was exhausting after a long journey. Because I had booked a room‑only rate, I asked to add breakfast for the next morning; when I said my child was six, they replied “2,000 yen per person,” and when I asked if a six‑year‑old paid the adult rate they said “well, that’s fine,” a vague answer that left us paying the full amount for the child. Later we wondered what “that’s fine” really meant. The vending machines didn’t accept the new banknotes or 500‑yen coins, so we had to get change and then stand in the same single‑staff line again. There was no clear signage or printed guide inside the hotel, forcing us to browse the official website on our phones for information, and many other guests seemed to be calling the front desk for the same reason. On the plus side, the shower head in the room was a ReFa model, though it smelled a bit, so we skipped using it and went to a nearby public bath, thinking the high‑priced fixture might be more about image than practicality. I think the hotel should first sort out staffing, signage and vending issues before adding upscale amenities. The location itself was good.
“場所が良い”
The location was great, but the room felt dated – the clock, alarm, lighting and air‑conditioner all looked old, and breakfast was pricey.
The location was fantastic.
“普通。”
The spot was great—right next to the station with a convenience store and mall close by, and the breakfast was tasty. However, the room was dirty; the building is old, so some wear is understandable, but the toilet was filthy and the cleaning overall seemed sloppy.
“満足”
The hotel sits conveniently close to Kintetsu Yokkaichi Station, making it easy to get around, though the breakfast window was limited to 6 am–9 am.
