“Exceptional” is the only word that fits our stay at Moulin Royale. Every detail of the property is well maintained, and the room was beautiful and extremely comfortable. We had a hearty breakfast that varied daily during our three‑night stay. On‑site parking and security (automatic gate) were available. The staff were attentive and incredibly kind. The location offers many options—for example, one morning we traveled to Paris‑Saint‑Denis in about an hour and a half. There is also a garden area with armchairs and small tables where you can relax. The only issue was that the coffee machine for breakfast needed fixing; each morning we had to team up with other guests to get coffee ready.

“unforgetable stay in super styilsh historical 5 star b&b”

The property was breathtaking, with its gardens, styling, pool, and breakfast all flawless in that gorgeous old mill/hunting lodge. My kids will never forget seeing a real wild fox on the grounds, a sight the host highlighted for us. One detail I must highlight: I accidentally booked for two adults, but we were traveling with our two children (2 and 5). We had requested a baby crib in our reservation, and upon arrival the host was understandably surprised to see two kids. They set up an extra bed for our eldest for a reasonable surcharge and made us feel completely at ease.

This bed‑and‑breakfast was stunning, and the hosts made us feel truly welcome. Our room was spacious and well furnished, and the pool area was beautiful, with a lavender scent wafting as we swam and chatted with other guests. The following morning, we enjoyed a generous and delicious breakfast. We were sad to leave and hope to return someday.

“A beautiful well run hotel just a short drive from the castle.”

Christian was the most helpful and delightful person we met; he shared the hotel's history and guided us to our rooms, even dropping us off at the castle and picking us up at 1 am. The hotel itself is beautiful, preserving its historic simplicity and elegance while keeping a modern décor. We stayed in peak summer, so the swimming pool was a real treat. Every morning, food is brought from the local boulangerie and patisserie. Parking is available on site, away from the road behind the gates. The grounds and gardens feature shaded willow trees with benches and tables for reading. A special shoutout goes to Eve, Saint, and Laurent, who made our day by the pool even better.
