Guests enjoy a bright breakfast hall and a supermarket just 100 m away, with restaurants and bars within a five‑minute walk. The Oberhausen tram stop (150 m) provides a five‑minute ride to Augsburg Main Station; public parking is available for a fee.

The hostel sits on an entire floor of a residential unit next to the train station, and I was pleased with the clean, easy‑to‑use shower and toilet facilities. The owner was friendly and communication was smooth. A big plus for me was the KFC right downstairs. My roommate was also friendly, and I hope she’s doing well.

The Augsburg‑Oberhausen station is within a 5‑minute walk, making trips to Augsburg and Munich convenient, especially with direct Munich services during Oktoberfest for an affordable stay. The staff were friendly. The place isn’t spotless, but it’s reasonably clean for a European hostel, and the kitchen and other facilities are decent. There are at least two bathrooms and showers on the same floor, so sharing isn’t a problem. The price is excellent and the Wi‑Fi works well. The building is on the second floor, so the elevator is a bit shaky and unsettling. I didn’t see a microwave in the kitchen. Cars pass by at night, so if you’re sensitive to noise it might be uncomfortable.
