I stayed in a charming heritage house full of character, with a super‑comfortable bed and an electric blanket that kept me cosy through the winter days. After unwinding by the open fireplace with a glass of wine, I headed out for dinner at local wineries and bars close by. There’s no TV, so it’s the perfect excuse to switch off, slow down, and bring your favourite music along. A small downside is that the shower can feel a bit cold at first, but once you’re in and the heater warms things up, it’s perfectly comfortable.
