The fact that it was a boat was a plus, but the second day there were a lot of dog poop, no toilets, no water, and the water pump kept running all night so I couldn’t sleep and the place was just too dirty.

Nothing positive – it was unacceptable, impossible to stay in the accommodation! I reported it to customer service. The owner didn’t greet us, only gave us directions. As soon as we opened the door, a strong smell of gasoline and white spirit hit us, making it impossible to be inside, especially in the room. The fumes were so bad they made my head spin. My daughter had to sleep on banquet cushions on the floor, and I had to stay outside! Getting onto the boat was hard because there was no walkway, so I had to carry my daughter a few feet from the quay to the boat. The bathroom shown in the photo was locked with a key! There was one toilet (a bowl without a seat) and a shower that was a five‑minute walk away. I contacted your customer service and a file was opened. After talking with the owner, he told us it was normal. Even though we left the doors and windows open, the odors persisted or even worsened. My daughter spent the second night on cushions on the floor, and I slept on a 30‑cm wide outdoor banquet chair in the open air! Moreover, we couldn’t cook because there was no gas (the gas bottle was empty and there were no cooking utensils). In short, paying for accommodation in high season on the French Riviera left us no choice but to sleep on floor cushions and I had to stay outside! I tried to explain the situation to the owner and politely ask for a commercial gesture. He said it wasn’t possible, citing a series of false arguments. I’m a very loyal Booking customer and have always been very satisfied with Booking’s service. You can see that in my ratings and comments.
