The apartment itself is truly beautiful: clean, well‑furnished, and equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Unfortunately, the reception was far from friendly. In a trip that took me through nine countries and about fifteen different accommodations, I had never experienced such an unfriendly welcome. Communication beforehand was also very difficult; my emails and calls went unanswered, and the host only speaks Hungarian. Because of a severe storm, during which sirens could be heard everywhere around, I didn’t arrive until 20:45. Even with this extraordinary situation, I was received and treated extremely poorly. As a motorcyclist arriving in such a moment, I expected more understanding and hospitality. Even this morning, a single word in Hungarian—probably something like “good morning”—was all the host offered. The host’s attitude toward guests and especially communication clearly needs major improvement. And no, I don’t have to learn Hungarian; my German, Russian and English have always sufficed. See the Google reviews—I wasn’t the only one who had this experience.
