“A good value close to Virginia Tech”

Being right next to Virginia Tech was a big advantage, yet it would have helped to have a bar or restaurant on site or some happy‑hour deals; the terraced areas looked nice but were underused.

The room was comfy, clean, and the place was well located, though the elevators kept glitching.

The daily breakfast and the hosts were very nice, the spot was close to VT, and parking was free; however, the rooms were unclean—there was a coffee mug on the floor beside the bed, the couch/sleeper sofa was filthy with food, wrappers, and crumbs under the bed, the throw pillows were ripped exposing the lining, every utensil drawer had crumbs, several pots were dirty with caked‑on food, the trash cans outside were overflowing and didn’t get cleared until the next day, garbage stayed at the elevator entrances for a full day before being removed, and laundry carts blocked access to the ice machine in the hallway.

“Great stay and good location.”

Breakfast, service, and cleanliness were all good, but the elevators were a constant problem; a 10 would have been possible if they were replaced with faster ones and serviced by a different company.
