Great location, close to the beautiful Lunsiyan temple and shopping streets, just a few minutes’ walk to the metro. The price/quality ratio is satisfactory. The condition of the room is not perfect—some wallpaper is peeling, and some spots are a bit dirty. I’m willing to accept all that given the price. The shower has a very weak water pressure. And yes, hot water can only be called “warm”—more like slightly warm. That’s a clear downside.

The location next to the temple was great. The beds were comfortable. The staff helped us organize a taxi. It was quieter than expected, which was great.

The hotel sits close to Taichung Railway Station and MRT Longshan Temple Station, and it's near the morning and night markets, making it super handy for people who like to walk around a lot. There's no elevator, so it’s a good choice for those traveling light with a backpack. The front desk staff, who also work at the previous hotel, seemed busy but friendly. My room was clean and I received a bottled water each day. As others mentioned, you can see the roof of Longshan Temple from the back of the room, and the morning sun on the roof was lovely. The only downside was that I only got one key; if you want to split up with someone else in the same room, you might want to negotiate for an extra key. I used my own shampoo, conditioner, and soap, so I can’t comment on the quality of theirs.
