The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, pointing out several spots and viewpoints that really enriched my itinerary. My room featured a small balcony overlooking the iconic Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, plus different thickness pillows, a chest of drawers, a foldable desk and chair, and a small cupboard for hanging clothes—everything I needed despite the room’s size. The communal kitchen had a fridge and microwave for storing and heating items. The only drawback is that there’s no elevator, so you’ll have to climb several stairs, which can be tough if you have knee or joint issues.

The accommodation is very well situated, close to the city center, sights, and tram stops, and Tina gave great advice. The only downside was the heatwave this summer.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this apartment. Everything was impeccably clean, well organized, and thoughtfully prepared. It has three rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a perfect bathroom with a washing machine. The balcony offered a fantastic view of Florence’s historic rooftops, and my room faced the inner courtyards, keeping it quiet all day and night. The apartment is on the fourth floor with no elevator, but the staircase is well lit, the steps are comfortable, and climbing them isn’t difficult—though heavy luggage can make it a bit challenging. The Cathedral and the library are about a 10‑minute walk away, and the Central Market is even closer. The neighborhood feels completely safe. I came to Florence for an exhibition held in three different locations and could walk everywhere without any difficulty. Public transport stops are plentiful nearby if needed. I sincerely hope to return to this beautiful city and to the warm hospitality of Tina and Riccardo. Thank you for making my stay so memorable!
