I couldn’t find any fault with this holiday; the Courthouse accommodation was superb—spacious except for the kitchen where the dishwasher and washing machine felt a bit cramped and there was no cupboard for cereals. The only annoyance was being jolted awake at 3 am by a car speeding around the building twice, and the lane access to the main road was tricky because of the fast traffic.

The room was large, comfortable, and great value. The only issue was the 10 am check‑out being a bit hostile, and the room cleaning missed spots around the windows.

The apartment was cozy and fully equipped, and the restaurant’s food was tasty, good value, and well‑made; the staff were polite, friendly, and very helpful. Visiting the National Memorial Arboretum made the location ideal, just a short drive away, and the countryside setting offered lovely views, especially from the restaurant. It was a delight staying there! Nothing to complain about.

It felt pleasant and liberating, with good food and the bonus of pool access. The only drawback was having to pay for towels to use the pool.
