Camilla and Paul run this place like they actually want you there; they knew it was my wife's birthday and upgraded our room and sent us off the next morning with a bottle of wine without us asking, a level of hospitality you can't manufacture. Dinner was outstanding, the chateaubriand excellent and more than filling with two courses of meat deliciousness. Breakfast the next morning was just as good, super fresh and perfect before a hike. And if that wasn't enough, the location can't be beat: right in the middle of the village with a view of Mythen and steps from the Klingenstock path for Stoos Ridge and its chairlift a short walk away. Beautiful rooms, two great hosts, and one of the best nights of our trip. Don't hesitate to book this!

A lovely hotel that instantly makes you feel at home, with a warm welcome. The bed is very comfortable and the wellness area, though small, is quite pleasant. The food is excellent, especially the breakfast which is super tasty and offers plenty of choices. Nothing negative.

The location, the hotel itself, the service (thanks to Camilla and Paul), the food (breakfast and dinner), and the wine all stood out. We can't think of any negatives.
