The hotel is very beautiful and in a great spot, but everything about the staff and the cleanliness was disappointing.

“Convenient and close to local shops and restaurants”

We liked the history of the property and its convenience to the downtown. The room we were initially put in was painfully small granted the building is historic. But the linens were dirty and a sketchy stain on the comforter. They moved us to a another room down the hall(Bigger). The hotel overall is outdated and it was very apparent when we got into the new room. 1. The curtains were wrinkly and ripped. 2. The lampshades were falling apart and taped on. 3. The bed pillows were very cheap like you get them at the dollar store. 2. The breakfast was just OK a lot of it was cold and mostly gone. It wasn’t our favorite. I’ve had better at probably all the hotels I’ve ever been to. It looked like the place had pretty much been ransacked by everyone else and you’d think it would be at least filled back up, but it wasn’t

Check‑in was smooth, but they charged extra for water.

“Great location, loved the building.”

Go next door for breakfast; it opens at the same time and the coffee is 100 % better. The curry smell isn’t strong yet, but the hotel isn’t American‑owned and will likely develop that awful scent soon. The carpets were dirty, the landscaping needs work, and they feed cats at the pool even though a no‑pets sign is posted.
