Complex Brashlyan, a National‑Revival forest retreat, sits 1 km from Tryavna’s center. Its terrace restaurant serves international and Bulgarian dishes with panoramic views of the town and mountains. Rooms feature carpeted floors, cable TV, wardrobes, and private showers. On‑site garden hosts a children’s playground; free parking and Wi‑Fi add convenience. Nearby, the Museum of Icons, a lake, and a supermarket await.

Good location, nice view, the staff were very responsive, decent kitchen in the restaurant. We stayed in an apartment that was more of a studio, but it was large and comfortable. There are things that could be improved regarding cleanliness (there were cobwebs on the staircase and in parts of the room), it would be better to have mosquito nets on all windows, especially in the bathroom due to insects. The price is a bit high compared to similar hotels, and Booking adds an extra €5 per night that they want you to book directly on the hotel’s website.

The views for dinner and breakfast were lovely, and the dinner itself was fantastic. We also enjoyed a swim in the pool, which was a relief on the hot day. The bed, however, was just two old mattresses stacked together with no frame, and they sagged.

The dreamlike location above the city is perfect. The bungalow is just the right size, simple and functional. The restaurant offers superb cuisine and absolute quiet. The breakfast coffee is awful, and only one staff member speaks decent English; the rest falter even on basic words like “bread” or “potatoes.”

Въпреки, че бяхме само за 1 нощувка, мястото ни хареса много. Гледката от ресторанта беше много хубава. Храната беше ок. Стаята беше голяма и разполагаше с хладилник и тераса. Леглото в стаята беше много твърдо и неудобно
