The Japanese‑style décor and location were nice. The breakfast and the bed left something to be desired.

The location was decent. They added a $40 accommodation tax on top of the $720 I paid for three nights, capped the TV volume so low I could barely hear it, and the hot water in the shower was also capped and barely warm.

The place sits right in the middle of Kyoto, making it a great spot for a short trip. The staff were very friendly and the rooms came fully equipped. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to explore Kyoto for a few days. Everything was just fine.

Fantastic location. The streets surrounding were filled with cafes and boutique stores. Walking into the accommodation created instant zen with the incense and calm atmosphere. Generous sized rooms and very clean
