“Große, schöne Finca in idyllischer und ruhiger Lage”
If you enjoy quiet and idyllic surroundings, far from Mallorca’s bustle, the Finca Sementaret is perfect. The property and terrace are huge and cozily arranged, surrounded by hills and fields. An outdoor grill is available. The swimming pool is beautiful and is regularly cleaned by the charming owner Francisco, whom we used often. Inside there’s a very nice and spacious living room with a view of the pool and hills, plus two bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. Wi‑Fi is available and works well. Arrival and departure with Francisco went smoothly, and “Perla,” the owner’s charming, slightly elderly, very good‑natured dog, was a loyal companion. For those who prefer no dog, Francisco can bring Perla off‑site upon request, so the dog is not on the premises. A car is necessary. A rough path of about 500 m leads to the country road, from which it takes about 10 minutes to drive to Artá. It’s also not far to San Llorenc and the tavern district in Cala Rajada. The beaches are about a 25‑minute drive. The only downside: everything was perfect, we relaxed wonderfully and enjoyed our time at the finca to the fullest. If there was anything to criticize, it would be that I would have liked an air conditioner instead of the existing fans. That would have been more effective in the heat we experienced, especially since the fan in one of the two bedrooms made faint clicking noises at its highest speed. But that’s a matter of taste; many see air conditioners as suspicious (unecological, cold‑risk).
