“Unkompetent, Dreckig, Riecht überall nach Schimmel”
Apart from the location, nothing at all, not even a single thing, from front to back is a catastrophe; the hotel should be shut down immediately. The room, shower/WC smelled moldy, the wardrobe did the same, and we couldn’t unpack our luggage. The dresser still had small items from the previous guest. The room was dirty, the bathroom had sand grains on the floor. Neither room had a bath mat or towel in the bathroom, nor a bath towel; after daily requests it was said one would be delivered, but nothing happened. We could only sleep with the window open, otherwise we’d get sick or trigger asthma. If we had booked more than two days for sleeping, we would have left right away. This is a case for the health department.
“DONT WASTE YOUR TIME”
The place is close to the beach and shops, but the staff barely spoke English, so I was left in the dark. When I arrived, they just took my passport and disappeared into another room, staying there for ages. Finally, an English‑speaking staff member explained that I wasn’t being robbed. The room was poorly furnished, the bathroom smelled of mould, and I ran out of toilet paper that wasn’t replaced until I fetched it myself. Two towels were taken from me—one white and one grey. I suspect they mixed up my white towel with theirs, but they apparently don’t even have grey towels. There is no Wi‑Fi in the rooms; the only connection is downstairs and only during certain times, so I avoided buying room Wi‑Fi for fear of poor quality. Bringing your own drinks to the pool is forbidden; you must buy theirs, and the bar only offers 2 or 3 cheap bottles. Breakfast was awful—cats wouldn’t eat it. It was mostly wet bread, dodgy sausages, old tomatoes and cucumbers, stale cereal. Don’t waste your holiday here; Alanya is great and this hotel will ruin it.
I’ve stayed at this hotel three times already and I love it. The owner, Mohamed, instantly solved a problem I had. My room was on the 4th floor with a beautiful balcony and mountain view. It’s spacious, cozy, with clean sheets, a comfortable mattress, and an air‑conditioner. The room was cleaned daily, the staff were very good, and the pool was clean. Breakfast was varied and you could stay until lunch. The sea is very close, and there’s a supermarket and various restaurants nearby. I recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in Alanya.
• Walking distance to the beach • A quiet room was provided • The room was large • The convenient location of the room. • The locking system of the steel doors made noise • The bathroom and toilet were very old and small
They didn’t even check us into this hotel; they sent us to a different one.
