The Birchtree Hotel, located in the centre of Dalbeattie, Scotland, offers en-suite accommodation near the Solway Coast in Kirkcudbrightshire. Surrounded by countryside, it is 12 miles west of Dumfries. Very helpful staff, 10/10 to the chefs for the amazing food, the beds were very comfy, nice wee games room. The hotel is dog friendly, but with our dog we were disappointed to find out we couldn't take her into the restaurant to eat and had to have all meals in the bar, so we missed out on cereal and unlimited tea and coffee at breakfast which was disappointing. We had a family room, the layout was strange with the shower being in the room with no privacy.
