The hosts were fantastic, the vibe was enchanting, and the local food and herb teas grown right in the beds were delicious.

The garden was gorgeous, filled with sculptures, tables, and chairs that could belong in a contemporary art museum, and the stay was comfortable. The only issue was that we arrived late at night; the instructions to get into the house were incomplete, because from the front at night the building looks unoccupied and the entrance is on the back side.

“Ubytování v Kernave”

The accommodation is just a short walk from an archaeological site listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Check‑in and check‑out went smoothly, the owner is friendly, there’s an interesting sculpture gallery on the property, parking is available in the garden, and the Wi‑Fi is stable. The rooms are very plain and cramped, so it’s suitable only for one or two nights, not longer. Hot water runs very slowly, though it’s enough for washing. Directly below the rooms is a kitchen, so the smell of cooking that day when a group of visitors came and cooked rose up into the rooms, forcing us to ventilate all evening and night.
