I stayed at this unconventional, free‑spirit place with my dog, and the rooms were generous; Sorita, the host, even gave us a gift and spoke German. The location felt like a dead end, there was no TV, the transfer cost was high, and the air had a faint farm smell.

I knew I was staying on a farm, and the breakfast was great while the owner was friendly and helpful, offering excellent dining tips. The room was spacious with everything needed for self‑sufficiency, and the bathroom was large and clean. However, chickens and ducks roamed freely, bringing dirt into the room and leaving a lingering smell. Six dogs were friendly but sometimes over‑enthusiastic, and the gate could only be opened by hand, which occasionally let the dogs escape—once we had to retrieve them. After that, no more issues with the dogs. The room could only be heated with gas, and a device in the room ticked loudly all night, disturbing us.

“Pleasant and easy overnight stay close to Addo Elephant Park with genial hosts and great breakfast”

The place was very pleasant for an overnight stay near Addo Elephant Park, with genial hosts who offered plenty of advice on visiting the park. The value for money was tremendous, and the room was spacious with comfortable beds. Breakfast was exceptional, featuring abundant fresh fruit from the small farm, and there was nothing to dislike given the great price.

It was an oasis of calm and hospitality; Sorita and Andrew were warm and took great care of us, pampering us with daily breakfasts that included homemade muffins, eggs, yogurt, fruit, and more. We could join Sorita on a safari in her bright red bus, gaining great knowledge and experiences on the tour. The drive to Addo takes about 20 minutes, making the location ideal for a day trip to the elephants. Sorita’s dogs are lovable and friendly to guests, and her sheep, chickens, and ducks are another highlight, with fresh eggs laid daily. I’ve stayed with Sorita twice already and hope to return soon! 🥰 Thanks for everything! Everything was wonderful.

“Meravellosos amfitrions!”

Sorita and Andrew were exceptionally kind, helped us a lot and explained many interesting things, and they prepared one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had at a place. We’re very grateful.
