The hostel’s price isn’t too high. The upper bunk beds are very uncomfortable to climb up and down. The place doesn’t stand out for hygiene… It’s true that the guests don’t help either. There are works in front, 30 buildings under construction at once… The air conditioning is very strong at night and you have to use a duvet.

I booked a room online, but the site never showed whether it had an upper or lower bed, so I requested a lower bed because I couldn't climb the higher one. The staff told me I’d booked an upper bed, showed me the reservation, and then charged me an extra $20 for a lower bed for two people. I paid him, but the website should indicate the bed type next time so guests don’t have to pay extra.

“Perfect place to stay, value for money”

Everything was great and the location gave easy access to local food. The staff were even friendlier than I expected.

The place felt completely disorganized and was probably the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in—poor value for money. The showers contained cigarette butts, and there were piles of empty shampoo and soap bottles plus used shavers. Toilets, showers, and sinks were dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned. Trash bins overflowed, and people hung clothes wherever they could. In the rooms, there were no shoe racks, so shoes covered the floor, making it feel more like a mess than a bedroom. They also charged a ridiculous SGD 20 “lost key card” fee, even though a replacement costs less than 50 cents, which felt like a shady way to make extra money.
