The place was affordable, in a good spot, with a decent sized, clean room and a comfy bed, but the heated towel rail was broken, there was a strange odor in the room, and I wasn’t sure if it came from the heat pump.

The staff were lovely and accommodating, and the hotel was spotless and tidy. They welcomed me with a cute milk and a bottle of water upon arrival, and overall the value and custom service impressed me more than some 5‑star hotels in New Zealand.
