This family-run hotel features an on-site restaurant with draught beer and a sun terrace, plus free WiFi and private parking. Renovated rooms (2017) offer flat-screen TVs, some with terraces or balconies, and include free toiletries and hairdryers.

The room itself was basically clean and the location handy for our festival visit, but the price‑performance balance didn’t work for us. We paid close to €3,000 for five people in three rooms and expected far more comfort, upkeep and a professional handling of legitimate concerns. The curtains let in about 90 % of light, so we were woken by daylight around 7 am each morning. When we raised it, we were told it would be dealt with, yet only on the third of five days did a staff member tell my friend that sleep masks had been provided, adding that the employee claimed my supposed rudeness made offering them difficult—a comment we found unprofessional and personal. Other issues included the lack of a coffee maker or fridge in the rooms, a reception that wasn’t always staffed, and room service that didn’t run daily. One faucet was louder than the toilet flush, the shower was poorly descaled with water spraying in multiple directions, and a screw had pushed through a chair seat, which could have been hazardous. After a night at the festival we returned at 3 am to find only cold water, not lukewarm; the next morning the staff initially dodged the question before explaining that the heating and hot‑water system is switched off for one hour each night. For a hotel that hosts many late‑night festival guests, that policy was hard to accept.

The staff were very friendly and open, but the standard room had outdated bathrooms and couldn’t be darkened.
