Southcliffe B&B, perched on the north Devon coast within Exmoor National Park, offers award‑winning rooms featuring flat‑screen TVs, en‑suite bathrooms, luxury bedding, and tea‑coffee facilities with hot chocolate, bottled water and biscuits. Guests enjoy a full English and vegetarian breakfast with fresh fruit, waffles, Greek yoghurt and specialty cereals. The stay was ok. We were well located for Lynton and Valley of the Rocks. We should have booked directly, I guess, as we paid the top rate but didn’t get a balcony; I think it would have been cheaper directly. The breakfast could have been a little bigger, like two sausages rather than one. Not much to dislike.

Lovely property that has been updated really well while keeping all of the original charm and features. I know it’s subjective, but… The bed was very soft for me and didn’t sleep very well. Some would like it, I guess.
