The staff were amazing—always helpful and welcoming. The facilities were clean and we had everything we needed. We brought our child with us, and the breakfast included was the right choice for us; it was really delicious.

It was a totally charming experience: a decanter of their special liquor was waiting in the room as a welcome, and the quiet location kept us away from tourist crowds. The décor was a fun departure from the usual austerity, and everything else was great.

We chose this hotel because we expected a historic architecture and nostalgic atmosphere, and it has a unique character. We didn’t encounter any cleaning problems. However, we were greatly disappointed: the hotel, which we had chosen for its well‑preserved historic building, felt more like an outdated facility. The elevator was out of service during our stay, forcing us to carry luggage up the stairs, which was very inconvenient. On top of that, the room’s air conditioning didn’t work. A hotel’s historic status does not excuse missing basic comfort and technical amenities. Even though we didn’t have cleaning issues, the maintenance and comfort fell far below our expectations.

The breakfast was really good, especially the fresh‑baked pastries, and the room and bed were very comfortable. The night managers weren't as good as the day shift, and since we stayed out past 2:00 am each night they had to unlock the door for us.

Everything was well maintained, everything worked, the breakfast was good, and the location was perfect. Everything was fine.
