The staff were very friendly and the breakfast buffet was excellent! Our room was really old, and because it was directly above the restaurant it was quite loud.

Everything could be better, darker, and more up to date.

The breakfast buffet was extensive. The location label is confusing: in the navigation system “Gronau” has multiple references, so you can be directed to the wrong spot, like a farm about 7 km away. The resident there said that people often end up on the hotel’s property instead.

Breakfast was great, and the beds were good, but there was no air conditioning and the walls had some damage.

The house was very pretty, the kitchen was good, and the breakfast was excellent.
