The staff were friendly and helpful. The room smelled awful—like too much cleaner trying to mask mustiness and urine. I had to buy an air freshener and a candle to cover it up. The first room I had was a little musty but not unbearable.

Clean, staff nice, budget priced. Frig doesn’t get cold, I could only get one channel on tv, decor very outdated

The location was convenient, just a short walk from the state college. The interior felt outdated, but that’s what you’d expect from a motel that cheap.

“Extremely convenient location, kind and helpful staff, bed bug problem.”

The staff were incredibly sweet, friendly, and helpful, with an attendant who answered every question and treated us with kindness throughout our stay. We woke up with numerous bed‑bug bites after the first night and discovered the hotel had recent complaints from other guests about the same problem; the employee that weekend claimed he had personally washed all bedding and inspected every mattress, but bed bugs rarely disappear by treating only the bedding, especially in rooms with carpet, drapes, and fabric chairs—professional extermination is required to fully resolve the issue.

“OMG this is vile”

The building was filthy from the moment I saw it, with broken chairs of various types in front of the motel. Inside the room, the light switch did nothing, the outside light framed the entire door, and there was a gap around the whole door; I couldn’t locate any air‑conditioning. The walls and floor looked flimsy and very old, and the bed appeared dirty. I laid my sleeping bag over the covers and used my own pillows, then washed both at the highest temperature I’ve ever used because I was worried about bed bugs. The bathroom was equally bad, and the TV remote was sticky—touching it made me want to vomit.
