Located 15 minutes from central Milton Keynes and Milton Keynes Station, it's under an hour's drive from Central London. Motorways M1 and M40 are nearby. Guests enjoy a full restaurant and bar menu. The hotel was very well kept and everything seemed clean and very tidy although it was continuously refreshed. Well done to the groundsmen too as the grounds were very nicely kept. When we arrived, two receptionists were quite rude, they didn't acknowledge us standing at the counter as they were busy having a chat. Eventually one answered us but left halfway through checking us in. That girl was very friendly and almost embarrassed. Dinner service was good although we were chased after we left our table to sit in the very small lounge just outside the door, then ordered to pay our bill there and then as “they needed to close the table down” this leads to the lack of lounge area, as there was a wedding on one of the bars in the old house was closed leaving a small 10‑15 seat area only available for a fully booked hotel. The Harrys bar and kitchen was a restaurant with a few stools at the bar and quite formal, not really what we were looking for.

Loved the view from the bedroom; we asked for air‑con and they gave us a unit, which was great. A few events like weddings and a music thing happened, and the staff apologized for the noise but we didn’t notice it in our room. However, while we were in bed someone knocked on the door, came in to give us water and put it in our fridge; I shouted “we’re in bed” and he said he was just leaving water—really awkward.

Peaceful location, amazing spa area, great dinner, yet the corridors were a bit confusing.

We had dinner with family, which was more money than we thought. Son got married at Horwood House. The day was beautiful, thank you to all the staff who helped us. A beautiful location, loads of photo opportunities with the surrounding of the hotel. This will be in our memories for ever. Would stay again. The prices of the restaurant and quality of the food
