“Un oasis en Lago Atitlan”
Everything about the place impressed us: the bright, spacious, spotless room had style and a terrace with stunning views, and the spot was ideal for an oasis away from crowds. Boats ran every 15 minutes to hop between villages, and a 15‑minute Tuc Tuc ride took us to San Marcos for dinner. The team of ten were always attentive and made us feel at home, and the weekly Guatemalan‑style dinner they offered to all guests (optional) was both a culinary treat and a chance to hear fellow travelers’ stories. The breakfast was fantastic, though we wished it had included a few more extras like fruit or juice.
