Located in the Sawtooth Mountains, Caribou Highlands Lodge offers an indoor pool, seasonal outdoor pool, and free Wi-Fi access. Spacious rooms feature flat-screen TVs, microwaves, refrigerators, and coffee machines. Some rooms have mountain views and fireplaces. The resort is near Temperance River State Park, Superior National Golf Course, and offers ski-in-ski-out access to The Mogul Grille and Tap Room.

The staff were super friendly and the hotel offered more amenities than I’d expect for the price, and the bed was comfy. The room, however, had a musty smell; it looked clean otherwise and we opened the windows to freshen it up, but it still wasn’t great.

Coffee should come with a room booked not as a condo but as a hotel room. I had to go to front desk for pods and pay for ground coffee, and both machines did not perform well. Keurig made brown water, and the drip coffee maker dripped all over counter because I tried to dispense a cup before the entire internal carafe was brewed. Illustrated instructions would have been helpful. Dishes left in dishwasher when I went to load mine. External stair had non code compliant hand rail and stairs. Bar was very understaffed- 15 minutes to get a manhattan with only 4 people sitting at the bar. I left after one night rather than wake up there again. I would love a refund

There are plenty of fun activities for kids, but everything is a bit pricey, which is understandable in these days.

The location is great, and Denton at the front desk was very friendly! However, there should be a warning about how many stairs lead to certain rooms; there was no elevator and I had to climb 32 steps on a narrow stairwell to reach our room.

I love the tub! I just wish they would offer breakfast.
