The family vibe was great and the breakfast superb; I had a cough and the hosts gave me honey drops for relief. The only downside was the need to take off shoes to protect the carpeted wooden stairs, which is tough when you’re older, and there was no room for large suitcases.

The daughter of John and Maeve greeted us warmly and made us feel very welcome, the breakfasts were wonderful, and the hosts supplied plenty of local tips. We didn’t find anything we didn’t like once we arrived at the property.

A very quiet B&B that offers guests the option to prepare their own breakfast; we chose the option and the breakfast was very good. John’s friendly reception put us at ease immediately, and he allowed a slightly late arrival after dinner since we were coming from Dublin.

A magnificent B&B with a warm welcome and plenty of advice for the rest of Maeve and John’s visits; the breakfast was very hearty and delicious, I loved the reading nook on the upper floor, and the rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated.
