Hotel al Ponte Antico

I stayed in a spacious, well‑furnished room and the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful; the breakfast was tasty and offered a variety of coffee specials, and there was a nice small river beach nearby. My dog was also welcomed, greeted with a bag of treats in the room and bowls already set up. We felt very comfortable and would definitely book this hotel again if we visit the area. Nothing was lacking – everything was perfect.

The rustic décor and large, beautiful rooms with plenty of space were a highlight. Everything else pleased us – the location was excellent, the rooms were spacious, and the staff were friendly.

The location right on the river is great, the breakfast is good, the beds are comfortable, and the pergola below is perfect for a relaxed dinner. The house’s colour scheme is a matter of taste and feels a bit dated.

I stayed at Hotel al Ponte Antico with my dog and my expectations were surpassed. The rooms are large and attractive, each offering either a garden or river side balcony or terrace. The hotel is very quiet, located directly on the river with a dreamy, natural private beach along the riverbank. I could jog along the river with my dog every morning and explore the beautiful surroundings. I rarely encounter such warmth from hosts on my travels, and I ate there almost every evening, even extending my vacation. My dog was more than welcome.
