The bed was comfortable and there was parking behind the house. The accommodation felt spooky—an old building with a strange mix of Art‑Nouveau furniture and the sense that Nosferatu sleeps in the adjacent room. We arrived late at night due to complications and were warned about a very unfriendly dog named Rufus, which prevented us from going outside (we even left something in the car, which happened). Rufus guarded the house; we could have called Mrs. Anna, but we didn’t want to bother her late at night, and it took 10 minutes to close Rufus. We love animals, especially dogs, but we were really scared of Rufus. We couldn’t imagine how we would react if he started burning. Burn or let him eat? In the morning (when Rufus was locked again) we chose not to have the offered coffee; Mrs. Anna tried to smile, but a fiery line stayed behind us.

This is a special place! The manor was built in 1898, and my cozy room was on the second floor. The interior gave me the feeling of a forest princess—clean, no strange odors, and a comfortable bed. The room has an air conditioner, but I didn’t use it. There’s a unique atmosphere everywhere, especially in the garden. Nearby, a new restaurant and a new hotel building were constructed. The property includes a small but lovely pool, a playground, a garden, and shaded rest spots under trees. I felt like I was visiting my grandmother 🥰 All staff were extremely kind and caring. I came alone on a weekend, without my son or husband, to relax and enjoy the quiet. I succeeded! I felt very happy there. Peace, a refreshing cozy pool, good hospitality, green grass, trees, bird songs—this is why you should come! The food at the restaurant is tasty. If you’re prone to noticing the tiniest flaws and expect a 4‑star hotel level, look elsewhere to avoid complaints to the owners. I’m very grateful to the owners and all staff for giving me the feeling of an important guest! I wholeheartedly recommend this manor! The only negatives are a bit of spiderwebs in the room, which is natural near a forest, and the hotel is close to a small road, which might bother sensitive people. There are no places for nature walks nearby, so if you expect that, you might be disappointed.
