The reception was very warm. The room was clean and spacious. I had to turn the air‑conditioning on again at night because heat seeped in through the gap under the door.

The location was excellent – you can walk to Suan Market and even reach Central World in the city centre, passing other malls and shops along a lively, safe street, with plenty of nearby hotels; we usually got back around 11 or 12 pm and other travellers were strolling back too, which felt relatively safe. The hotel also placed a strong emphasis on cleanliness, which made me feel at ease. The only downside was that the facilities felt dated.

The staff are cute. The walk from the airport rail link is farther than expected and the path is confusing.

The staff were very attentive and friendly. They tried to charge us a deposit at check‑in that wasn’t listed anywhere; after clarifying it was not charged, they made my wife and me wait at reception for a while while they verified the room. This is the first time something like that has happened to us at a place.
