Good location, within walking distance of everything. The staff were very helpful and always available. The room (801) didn’t lock with the deadbolt, which was unsettling for a solo traveler. The sliding window also wouldn’t lock shut, and the fire escape ladder was right outside the window. The bathroom drains smelled.

The location was good and the staff were helpful. I thought I’d booked a room with a balcony, but it turned out to be just a sliding door, so I couldn’t sit outside as I’d hoped. The bathroom drains had a bad smell.

The hotel sits just a few steps from the lake. The room was a bit tired but very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bar has a speakeasy vibe, and the staff were friendly and full of local tips. The real highlight is the staff—special shout‑out to Jimmy and Sophie at reception. Nothing was too much trouble, and they gave great advice on where to eat, visit, and avoid. Contact before arrival was excellent, with prompt replies and helpful info from Jimmy.
