The location was lovely and the staff were great, but the room needed a facelift with more storage space for clothing and hooks for hanging items.

The lodge was a beautiful country setting in a piece of paradise; Daniel, the manager, took such good care of me and made it so easy to stay another night—I’ll be back. Thank you, Michael.

The spot was gorgeous and peaceful, making us feel like we were on a break; the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and we liked that we could hike and cycle right on the property. They offered ample braai facilities, a kitted kitchen with the basics, and a warm blanket for cold nights, so we were very comfy, and it was super convenient to eat at the restaurant when needed.
