The location is fantastic, with winding and narrow roads but worth it. The views are stunning and the star‑ry night sky leaves a remarkable impression. The Milky Way is within arm’s reach :) It’s close to a cave and a nearby pub. Quiet and peaceful. Don’t expect fancy amenities, but everything you need is on site. The communal kitchen is fully equipped. I didn’t dislike anything, just that the host only spoke Romanian or needed a translator, but that was manageable

A simple, clean accommodation right in the middle of the Apuseni National Park mountains, reachable via a narrow, newly built road. The view of the mountains is great. The host is very friendly and will cook breakfast and dinner upon request. A fully equipped communal kitchen for self‑catering is also available in the house. It’s an ideal starting point for hikes to the ice cave or the beautiful mountain scenery

I enjoyed watching the sunrise in the morning. The room was very bright. The view faced the valley from our cabin perched on the hilltop. You could only hear the crickets and the cows’ bells. Above the cabin a forest begins where we walked in the evenings after hikes and saw wild rabbits ;-) On the ground floor there’s a fully equipped kitchen and large tables. There’s also a covered barbecue in front of the cabin with everything. But what I liked most were the hosts who stay in the adjacent house. Simple people, extremely friendly and welcoming. The lady was very kind and agreed to prepare breakfast and dinner for us. Those dishes, the taste, were unlike anything I’ve had since my grandmother’s time. Everything came from the hosts’ kitchen: milk, cottage cheese, meat, jam… I won’t list everything because everything was very, very tasty. I’ll just remember the mushroom soup made from freshly picked mushrooms. I’ve never tasted such a delicious soup. I recommend everyone try the lady’s cooking. We rested so well there. The location with the view is a dream! We’ll return ;-) PS: I know it’s not related to the review, but the story of the hosts’ daughter, a village student who, without tutoring, scored 9.90 on the national exam and got a perfect 10 in mathematics, impressed me

The place is quiet and peaceful, and the view from the window is nice too. Nothing in particular stands out, but if you plan to walk around the area watch out for aggressive shepherd dogs!
