Located in Gaupne village, Gaupnetunet Hotell og Hytter offers rooms and cottages with flat-screen TVs and private bathrooms. The in-house restaurant serves meals, and free WiFi is available throughout the grounds. Lustrabadet Water Park is a 4-minute walk away, and Gaupne bus stop is 300 meters from the hotel.

The accommodation was cozy and situated in a quieter spot; the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were modernly furnished and had a separate sitting area. There were plenty of parking spots near the room. We ate well at the restaurant. However, the two sleeping arrangements in our Junior Suite were just two mattresses that could be pulled out under the main bed, which felt a bit cramped for four people.

The large family room was comfortable and the parking in front of the hotel was free. The lack of an elevator is a drawback, even though it’s only one floor; carrying luggage can be a handicap.

The cabin was beautiful, perfectly located near the glacier, spacious and lovely above the campsite. Thanks to the kitchen we cooked ourselves, and it even had a dishwasher. The supermarket is also not far, but it closes on Sundays, which should be kept in mind if you arrive on a Sunday.
